Pumpkins. These are highly popular when it comes to Halloween or Thanksgiving. Bring several large pumpkins into your yard. You don’t need to fully decorate the pumpkins, although, you can carve them out if you want. The small pumpkins for yard décor can be used on the front porch or on top of any railings. The large ones can also be put on either side of the front steps of your home. To add uniqueness to the touch, buy bumpy or white pumpkins.
Scarecrows. Who says that the scarecrow can only be used in the country or in a farm? They can also be used in front of your home. Buy small ones and place in wreaths and flower boxes or use a large scarecrow to place them in your yard. Placing them in haystacks and corn stalks is a good choice but if you prefer to put them near the front door it is also a great idea. Creating your own scarecrows can save you money.
Grapevines. This idea can give your yard a natural look. You can buy them in long pieces and put some of them over or around your front door. To make it appear realistic, purchase artificial berry picks and leaves from a craft store and add them to the vines. If you can't find long, fresh grapevines, you can buy a wreath from the craft store. When there are gaps, fill them with the berries that you have bought. To hang it on your front door, use an orange ribbon and tie a large bow on top and you are done.
