Fruit That Prevents Damages from Sunshine

The hot summer is coming. Ladies are worrying about their beauty. How can they keep the skin white and smooth in such a terrible season? Some people choose to wear sunglasses and use umbrellas. Some people would use sunscreen and wear clothes with long sleeves. Others would like to eat more food that protects people from damages of sunshine. Recently, experts say people can turn to some fruit for help. Fruit, such as watermelon, lemon, orange and tomato, is more effective and efficient than sunscreen.
Watermelon enjoys high popularity in the hot summer. Different from water and drinks, watermelon not only provides people with abundant water, but also helps people complement many beneficial substances which do goods to health and beauty at the same time. For example, the amino acid is able to improve the activity of skin cells. More importantly, the substances that watermelon offers are easy to be absorbed and make the skin white and nutritive.
Lemon can also serve as a skin protector. As we know, lemon is rich in vitamin C. This vitamin has a function of promoting the metabolism. It slows down the aging process and whitens the skin. Meanwhile, it supplies much citric acid, which is capable of intenerating the horniness and shrinking pores. Its most precious advantage is that it strengthens the resistance of ultraviolet radiation.
Orange seems to have nothing to do with sunshine preventing. Actually, it helps in an indirect way. The rich vitamin C and carotene in oranges can restrain the formation of carcinogens. They intenerate blood vessels and promote the blood circulation as well. People who often eat oranges have a lower content of cholesterol and blood fat. Experts hold the view that three cups of orange juice everyday can increase the content of high density lipoprotein. More specifically, a certain substance in oranges contains isoflavone and citrin, which would help transport low density lipoprotein out of the human body and maintain high density lipoprotein. As a result, the metabolism speeds up and the skin becomes healthier.
In addition to the above fruits, kiwifruit is also good for skin. It provides more than ten kinds of protein to people at the same time. And it is a good source of minerals, vitamins and carotene. In one word, it is more nutritious than many other kinds of fruit. If people eat it from time to time, the skin would have a stronger immune ability.
Of all fruits, tomato is considered to be the most powerful fruit that can resist ultraviolet radiation. It contains a large amount of lycopene, which functions as an ideal antioxidant. Research has indicated that if people ingest as many as 16 milligrams of lycopene every day, the risk of sunburns would be reduced by 40%. It is no doubt that tomato is a good opponent of the sunshine.
