Are corrective laser surgeries painful?

Eye problems have increased a lot nowadays and many people have started wearing glasses. But glasses are a nuisance, as some people can't even go to bathrooms without glasses. Therefore, people have started to find ways to get rid of their glasses and they started it with using contacts. Contacts were fine; they made people look good, as they don't have to wear ugly glasses anymore. But, it is very difficult to maintain contacts and they needed constant cleaning and other maintenance activities. Also they are not permanent cures and people have started wanting permanent cures. Thus, because of the growing demand for permanent cure, people started inventing laser treatment methods.
These laser eye surgeries are also called corrective eye surgeries and that's what they do, they correct the eye. When the surgery is over, the person is left with no more eye problems and because of this boon, more and more people have started opting for laser eye surgeries in spite of their costs. But there are many restrictions before one can undergo laser surgeries. They are very risky and if something goes wrong, then the person could lose their eye. Thus, it is very important that the person is proclaimed eligible before they undergo the surgery. Doctors reject patients on many reasons and some of them are diabetes and glaucoma. When a person is suffering from glaucoma, any exposure to laser radiations can be very painful to the person's eye. Thus many people who come looking for laser eye surgeries are being rejected on account of some disease or vulnerability.
The laser eye surgery takes place in three phases and the actual surgery takes place for only about a minute or two. But if everything goes right, then the person can have a corrected vision in about 24 hours. If one wants to have a safe laser eye surgery, then they have to follow the doctor's advice and instructions carefully. But before all that, make an appointment with a doctor who is known for these laser surgeries. When the eye goes, 90 percent of your life goes and therefore you shouldn't play in these matters. There are many fake eye surgeons out there who just want to make a lot of money and they do make a lot of money because of the cost of these surgeries. They might give big deals and try to entice patients towards them, but never succumb to such pressure. This is almost a matter of life and death, so always check the doctor's credentials thoroughly before you move forward. Also, if the doctor says that you are not cut out for a laser surgery, then please listen to him and don't try to pressure him. This is because if you undergo a laser surgery with a lot of risk, then you might end up losing your eye anyway. It is better to have a bad eye than to have no eyes at all and always try to remember that and do according to the doctor's advice.
